I've loved horses since I was a boy and have been around them my entire adult life. I got into team roping and started competing in amateur rodeos and jackpots.
I'm enjoying building my own rope horses and teaching my daughters the basics of roping and riding.

I first got into hoof care when Leanne was pregnant 10 years ago and trimming our own horses became too difficult for her. She taught me the basics of barefoot trimming, and I took over looking after our horses' feet. Before long, I started tagging along to some of her bodywork appointments when clients also needed trimming.

I've always been interested in the shoeing and blacksmithing side of farrier work, and I knew there was more to learn. In January 2026, I headed down to Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School to build on what I already knew and get some intensive hands-on training. I take pride in providing a balanced, functional trim that keeps their feet healthy and sound. I really enjoy the challenge of shoeing; every horse is different, and I like figuring out what works best for each one so they can perform at their best.

At the end of the day, my goal is pretty simple: keep horses comfortable, sound, and able to do their job.
